6'8 may be a little undersized in most systems, but not in Pearl's system. The guy can move up and down the floor, and has an aggressive nature that we need in a big guy. If he can continue that short range jumper that he was hitting last night, he might be special.

By the way, how awesome is our Atlanta connection? Tatum will be back, then you have Hall, along with the two guards coming in next season.

He needs to get bigger. That will happen.

Agree.

Once he fills out a little, he'll be pretty dominant inside. He needs to sort of work out a little finesse game with a mid range jumper, and he'll be a great one. I love the intensity that he plays with though, and he's not afraid to take it to the rack and throw it down (which is an attribute I wish Scotty could have a little more too).

+20-30 lbs he will me great. I see him fitting Pearls system well because he is not tall but not short and he can get up and down the court. Plus he actually has somewhat of a decent mid range shot.

I like his agressiveness downlow and his rebounding ability. He has a decent short range jumper out to about 10-15 ft. He reminds me a little of Marcus Haislip when he was freshmen.

I do think Brian Williams has been moved to the furthest chair from the coach. I can't see him getting more than a few minutes a game when he does come back.

Hall is exciting to watch. At the end of last year I thought we had one more year and may fall off some. It now looks like we will be better next year than this one.

Kenny Hall is a man. You don't see him finger roll layups off back iron like Brian Williams used to do. He's going up and dunking it down. That's awesome.

Kenny Hall has great quickness, a great heart and the arm length of a 7 footer that fools opponents. As a freshman he shows more NBA potential than anyone that has played for Pearl. Far more than Smith and more than Hopson as a freshman.

It takes some players years to learn not to bring the ball down. He gets it above his head and dunks like lightning. WOW! Bam! Shizaam!

I think Hall was a major factor in the Kansas Game,,When Chism went down with three before the half, Hall had subbed for him in the first half and did an excellent job and then continued for most of the second half. I was scratching my head wondering why he had not beaten our Williams already.

Wow, talk about some slight over-reaction. I am very excited about Kenny Hall. He is a very good athlete who goes up strong when he is around the basket. He is a relentless rebounder. And he works his tail off fighting for position on defense. His mid-range game is much more questionable than what you guys make it sound like. His decisions when he is dunking in the paint are great. His decision with the ball around 15 foot still need some fine tuning. He has pulled a couple 15 ft jump shots with a guy all over him. At least one was blocked. I think he has potential to be very good. But this 'best NBA potential' stuff is a little excessive.
