Everybody knows not to put too much stock in the ranking "authorities" like Rivals, Scout, etc., but I went through all of the Pro-Style QB's offer lists and WOW.

For instance, their #7 Pro-Style QB Chad Jeffries is a San Diego State Commit, and his offer sheet includes such heavy hitters as Oregon State, Utah, UTEP, and NO BODY ELSE.

Justin Worley, however, is not even ranked and has offers from Florida, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, and Stanford.

Going on down the list, and my GOD, their whole Pro-Style Top 25 is ridiculous!! What is the deal with that crap?

Its still the same player, regardless of rank. i'll take the kid with 4000 yards and 40+ touchdowns. with 70% accuracy in high school where the talent level at WR can be questionable. oh yeah, as a junior. i support this pick up .

Snap! You'd do it the second time over too!

I'm no expert by any stretch, but from what I've heard around here Rivals is really down this year. QB are always one of the toughest to rank anyways. Hopefully our boy will turn some heads this year and help bring in some more elite talent for the offense.

Sort of like Tyler Bray's offer list last season?

Bray wasn't ranked anywhere near that high until he got offered and showed out at later camps.

Probably because only 2 of those offers are legit.

His stats are high because his offense is more passing and he doesn't impress me that much. I'd give him a mid 3*.

That's why Bray got ranked, his Camps were out of this world.

Worley camps, not so much (and from what I read outta Tallahassee "not so much" is being very kind)

It seems like its in style to blame Rivals but Worley fits the criteria of a 3 star QB

Which is why I want Brissett also in this class

According to Rivals, they have Brissett with a low interest in UT, with 7 other schools as medium. Doesn't look good, but you never know. I really want this kid, too.

I thought I remember Hubbs saying that they tightened up on Rivals. They are being alot more strict and not giving stars out like they used too.

Rivals is only a 3* recruiting service so far this year. There's a small chance that they'll raise their position when my next ranking comes out, but they'd better have a great season. :)

Like I said in another Worley thread last night, I'll take Jim Chaney's eye for talent over all of us in here that pretend to be experts any day of the week. If this is the QB he wants outta this whole class then thats good enough for me. The kid has sick numbers for one of the top HS teams in the country. And BTW, Rivals also had Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford rated as 3 stars at the end of their HS careers! TIFWIW!!

I've been hearing that Worley isn't doing as well as some of the other highly ranked guys at camps. Mainly from other threads on here and TOS
