How long did you have to wait to vote?

Polls opened at 8, and I was there at 8:05. I still had to wait about 30 minutes.

I was surprised the line was that long when it opened.

I voted Oct. 30th and it took about 30 minutes, but it went by quickly because I had a nice blonde MILF in line in front of me.

11:00 AM, waited 5 minutes.

Although the guy working the line said that the line was wrapped around the block and the wait was 2-3 hours when the polls opened.

Got there at 6:30am. Polls opened at 7:30am. I was out of there in 15 minutes. The line was not long at all. Heard one of the voting attendants say that 45% voted early in my county.

Lucky SOB. I had a priest behind me who spent 15 minutes trying to convince me that Carter was a good President. I kid you not.

Not sure what was scarier. The fact someone thought Carter was good, or that I had a priest behind me. :ermm:

Got there at 10:00 and left at 10:45. Problem in Memphis is the ballot is 12 pages long with tons of legal-ease referendums. Even if you are familiar with the items it takes a while to read the wording so you answer it correctly.

I had a near-miss on a hanging-chad instance. Guy in front of me was all ready with his Republican post card that was sent out to tell him how to vote. One of the issues was worded backwards and he was doing the drone thing marking yes-no based on the post card. He realized it after he clicked, and had to have a poll worker come over to reset the machine. It was hilarious and sad at the same time.

I think they are equally hillarious, but the fact that it was a priest saying that carter was a good president takes the comedy gold to a new level

No referendums for me this year. I voted Thursday and stood in line for about an hour and a half. I don't know that it means anything, but I am hearing that the precincts in the more liberal parts of town here are flooded, and it's the opposite in the more conservative parts.
