How Loud Was It?

It's the loudest I've heard it from above. Most of my Vol watching career was in section T where it's louder than it is in the club/box level but this was very very loud even at this level. Down towards the field I'd say it was as loud as it ever has been.

I heard on TV it started at 112db at opening, but I saw someone else state a friend in the booth measured 119db later during game. Not confirmed.

I saw 119 on the screen. Every time Bama had ball I put my ear plugs in and yelled and clapped as loud as I could. 5 minutes into game the vol fan 2 seats down asked the Bama fan beside me if she wanted to switch. She said no. I’m assuming she wanted to pay me back when UT lost. Joke on her. She left quietly when the clock hit 00 and I now can’t talk. Go VOLS!

Not sure about anywhere else but at my daughter's house where we were having a family VOL watching party, I'd say it got pretty loud. Surprised the neighbors didn't call in on us. LOL

The entire crowd was loud the entire game, no lull even when it looked like all was lost late in the 4th. The students were magnificent. When the offense was playing, the jumbotrons said "Quiet, offense at work".
