I have and thank God only suffered about 3 days. Brother has been in hospital for 5 weeks and sister has it and is in bed about 50% of the time.
Most unbeliable fact, they really don't have anything to treat it......just go home and take care of yourself unless you are having breathing problems.

Yes and ordering our groceries on line. My brother left the hospital (Maury Regional) after 4 weeks with staff infection and urinal track infection.......in worse shape. Ambulance would not pass another hospital to take him to any Nashville hospitals. I drove him to St Thomas West where he is getting better care but still has a long way to come.
So please say your prayers. It is horrible for some and the sad part is, we can catch it again and the second time usually is a killer.

Not yet, surprisingly. My dad tested positive a little over two weeks ago and I had been around him several times. He just had emergency surgery yesterday because of blood clots. Still not out of the water yet, but the doctor who did the surgery said they think they got it in time to save his leg.

Not yet. I work in healthcare so I have been very careful. Have coworker who has been on vent for close to 20 days. It is very real. Prayers and good wishes for a speedy recovery for you and yours.
You are a true hero as I am sure you have seen some horrible things. I hope you do not catch it.

My brother was on blood thinner to stop any blood clots but they got his blood too thin and now blood is coming out his nose and other places I cannot mention. Please all treat this virus with respect and be careful.

My sister had it with very few symptoms, just a runny nose and lost her senses of taste and smell. Her boyfriend had it and was totally asymptomatic. My neighbor was in bed for 2 weeks but never needed hospitalization. It killed my grandfather 10 days ago.

I think I might have had it early on, but I wasn't sick enough to worry about getting tested when kits were limited. I stayed in for 2 weeks.

I had it in mid to late April. I just had bad body aches and a 102 temp for a couple of days and a sore throat and light cough. I think I got it when I went to Pennsylvania. Truthfully I’ve been sick in my life before much worse than my experience Covid but I’m still worried about the residual effects it might have left on my body and if I catch it again I might have a worse experience. It def effects everybody differently though I’m 41 and in decent shape and rarely other than seasonal allergies cold ever get sick but I know people my age and younger have gotten really sick and died from this. It also sucked when I did return to work everybody treated me like a leper they didn’t want to get close to me and I understood that but it still made things uncomfortable. We have learned more about this virus since April of course but we still are finding much more about it and still have much to learn. Please everyone take this seriously and be safe cause anybody can get this and you don’t know how your body will react.

First of all, I feel bad for anyone who has had it and who still has it.

But, the OP said something that I have been saying for a long time now.

More than likely if you don't have it. But, if you have it there is nothing they can do or will do. They just look at you and tell you to come back if your breathing becomes worse.

But, since this is a thread that will have a lot of respondents who have had it or know people who have had it, do you believe this is the way for us to continue to go about it.

Do you believe schools need to be remained closed, businesses shut down, etc?

Just curious. Because my position has been the same for several months now. Yes, this is serious. But, no, we as a society can not continue to operate this way.

You did the right thing taking him to Nashville. I wouldn’t trust Maury Regional or Williamson Medicsl.

Currently in quarantine waiting results. No breathing issues. Just 3 days of headaches and chills. Worst headache I ever had the 2nd day. 24 Hr nurse told me to have the test.

BTW, I didn't know it was possible to stick an entire fishing rod up one's nose.

Symptoms are gone, but I can't go back to work until I get the results. They said 7 to 10 days

Most people who have died from this had other illnesses Or other conditions. The large majority of people have recovered. I think the media has done a great job of pitting people against each other due to this.

Also positive thoughts do not help some one sick, only prayer.

Sorry for your loss. An attorney on my team had it in June. I talked with him this week and he still doesn't have smell!

Williamson Medical Center from my experiences a very good hospital. The one to beware of is St. Thomas-Midtown(formerly Baptist) that place is staph heaven.

Proof? Daughter-in-law works there & would disagree.

Had neck surgery there 3 years ago. Had a stroke during surgery, then got staph infection and was there 2 months, gave me a 40% chance of survival. I know a few other people that got staph there too.
