Their QB is going to win the Heisman, but does their defense have enough All-Americans to contain UT?
He wins Heisman? Nah.......
Is he talented? Yes.....
According to same Nashville radio guys, the Vols won't be able to score or move ball because of new inexperienced OL and lack of QB talent. Also, they claim UT will not be able to contain the USU high octain offense despite the fact that 4 brand new OL are also first timers on the USU OL. Apparently that doesn't matter for them, only ut
These are weird options. We should have a decently better offense than last year, and last year we had four games with over 400 yards of total offense, and a couple that were closer to 500 than to 400. It is much more likely that we have more than 500 yards than that we have less than 200.
More realistic categories would have been:
Less than 300
301-350
350-400
400-450
More than 450
This is just sad....in this particular case. Blind eye. These statements are not only disrespectful to our Vols but also the SEC.
We may not win the NC or SEC or division but by no means will ever convince me that
1) SEC replacements are not more talented.
2) Any Game starting QB in the SEC is inexperience especially if said QB is a Senior.
3) That 1 Player (Keeton) can control the outcome of the game in spite of his supporting cast.
These statements were done for ratings and chest beatings in case something does happen. I don't expect them to be bias in their comments, but I do at least ask that they apply some logic in their analysis....
According to Nashville talk show hosts like tlay cravis and others the Vols will be shut down by Utah state with zero chance of winning. Based on some opinions in Nashville, the Vols will total about 7 total yards offense and give up around 800 to the Utah State QB. Apparently because he is the greatest QB in the country and will win the Heisman.
