They showed the LSU stands yesterday for the LSU v FL game and there were empty seats. The commentators even mentioned how this is becoming a disturbing trend in college football.

UT is not the only one experiencing this problem.

Even at ~90k, we can still have a significant home field advantage. Many people left during the UGA game at halftime and we still were rocking.

Fans made a difference in the last game. Jones practically begged for fans to show up to the next one.

We have plenty of fans with the means to go. But they'll decide it's just not worth the effort. Some of those will come here to complain about attendance.
