It may have been posted, (sorry if it has) but how many yards do you think the Vol defense will give up against Utah State?

Not over 250. We'll get a couple fumbles and a couple pix. Also, keep them off the field...seriously, no joke. :bash::neener2:

Last year in USU's 5 non conference games they averaged 180 rushing yards and 229 passing yards per game.

On the road (8 games I believe) they had about 182 rushing yards per game and 240ish passing per game.

They supposedly played a ranked team during the regular season although at a quick glance from the mediocre teams I can't even tell you which one that might have been. With that being said against the one mystery ranked opponnt they had 118 rushing yards and 164 passing yards for a total of 282 yards.

I don't think they get more than 250 yards and thats if they play their best.

Tennessee at home last year:

Average rush yards against : 171
Average pass yards against: 150

The last few years, we have struggled to contain even mediocre qb's on the ground. I wouldn't be surprised if Keeton runs for 80 yards, and they put up about 400 total. I hope this doesn't happen, and hope we still win even if they do. I want to be pleasantly surprised, but I am not getting my hopes up. Also, my buddy just called me up with a ticket to the game!

Man, Volnation acts like a bunch of battered women. Even with all of the reported improvements, most still think the worse. I am going to say that we give up 1000 yards to the mighty Aggies of USU. This way I can be the most negative poster in this thread.

Got to get Chuckie worried about the knees. A couple of good clean shots to the legs early should put a little fear and caution in his game. Do it early and often.

They have a really good running back and their QB can run as well. They didn't suspend their best two WR's so they can definitely move the ball. I'll go with 350.

Rushing < 150 vs. Pro Style
Passing < 150 on Spread
Passing <250 on Pro Style
