How much different is last night with Von in the game?

I've been critical of Bajakian and the style of offense for awhile. I thought Bajakian put our boys in some wrong situations. However, for me right now the litmus test for CMB is Florida in three weeks. He's got to show some elite progress in that game.

Having said all that, I think Von really changes the dynamics of that game last night. We really missed him. I think he is the perfect outlet for Worley when OK just pinned ears back and crashed the middle. I think he could have housed an outlet pass and kept them more honest throughout the game.

I know every team would miss a Von Pearson, but I think it is really, really unfortunate we couldn't play OK with him in the game last night.

Unless Pearson could have lined up and been effective at tackle, not much IMO.

Worley had zero time to throw and they repeatedly blew up the outlet and screen game.

I would really like to see what he could do in kick returns when he gets healthy though.

Someone needs to replace DY on KO's

Not much. I'm going to love having him back because he's dynamic. The big issue was the OLine, turnovers and the officials to be honest.

Game was closer than the score which you hate for this young team. Bye week comes at a great time. Gives the guys a chance to watch film against a great team and adjust. AND get healthy

At this point, UT is still short on elite talent and even shorter on experience. In time, I believe CBJ will get enough talent and will compete in the upper echelon of the SEC. Last night, Worley looked like an average QB when he wasn't under pressure. He's tough, but just being tough won't be enough.

Still hoping for a bowl game!!!

I agreee however I think the 1st pick would have been a TD if he was throwing to Von. Wolf didnt play right? Theres your problem.
