it doesn't, losing 2 of 3 to Kentucky and/or Missouri will hurt much worse. Every team in baseball has a bad loss..........pull up Vandy's losses the year they won the CWS, I'm sure there was a tough loss or 2 there

Barely beat ETSU ... went on to win series over Georgia

I'm more concerned that our hitting sucked and we basically used McLaughlin long enough he probably won't be available until Saturday.

It’s just one bad loss. If they handle business and win the rest of the series they will be in an enviable position of being possibly the number 1 overall seed in the SEC. Nobody cares about the midweek games. The SEC is a gauntlet so if they drop a few to the little guys but win against conference foes then so be it.
