after watching bama-florida game, as a diehard UT, im not ashamed to admit that im scared of this bama game and it becomes even bigger if we cant get it done against georgia at home, which i think should happen. but after georgia, alabama is a whole different beast and i think they may be the team to beat right now in the SEC and we cant afford another SEC loss. honestly who will swallow their pride and admit to be a little scared of bama

I think Ut is really going to have to get that spark going on offense. I think its going to be a great matchup, but like you said, i would be a little worried myself if Bama was as lackluster on offense as Ut has been this year. I think they need to start stretching the feild more, god knows Ut has the talent. Run it wide open.

There is a lot to be said for playing up to your competition. I think Alabama showed in big games, when they need to, they can take it to the next level. Its going to make the Alabama vs UT game a lot more interesting then it has been because of so much more on the line.

Here is the problem, this is not a knock on Rick, but Bama's defense will be able to concentrate on guarding half of the field. Rick just doesn't have the arm to stretch the game horizontally. It is going to be a tough game for the vols.

Not a doubter, just a realist. I hope I am wrong, but when a defense as talented as Bama can concentrate on one area of the field it is like Rick's weakness is another defender. That is what allows teams to keep 8 men in the box. I'm sorry, but thats a fact.

I disagree, I have seen RC chuck the rock down the field, he may not have the arm of Manning or Shuler but he can throw the ball.

Have you seen it this year? Seriously. Have we stretched the field?

On the other hand, Bama hit one deep pass. The other long TD pass was a slant that the receiver took to the house. But the threat is always there. We haven't shown it.

I haven't watch Brodie play. Is he a mobile QB or is he strictly a stay-in-the-pocket-passer? If he stays in the pocket he is going to get mashed. Same may be true for Clausen. Maybe neither QB will survive this game.

Croyle is pretty much a pocket passer, but moves well enough to avoid the rush; probably a little quicker than Rick Clausen, but he's not going to leave the pocket much due to his injury history.

I don't take any SEC team that we play, lightly. You never know what can happen in this conference on any given gameday.

Can you imagine the suicide watch that would take place if Ole Miss snuck up and beat Bama? :D

This is the same Bama team that had a hard time with MTSU and with Southern Miss.

Folks UF is not that good. Fulmer played the wrong QB!
