I know our lines are young, but how much talent is on them? Seems like having bodies on the line could give worley enough time for all the slants/flats he has been passing.

That question will be answered tonight, Butch has said many times, team 118 must establish it's identity. It's not good if the opponent defines you, case in point, canderbilt this season.

Having bodies on the lines is a lot better than not having bodies on the lines.

Without an O line, I feel the pressure would increase considerably for Worley.

Unfortunately, I think the O line is pretty bad. In particular, I fear that the OT's are in for a long nite

The D line is a little better..perhaps we can call them fair.

Dline is better than OLine by far. I think our defense can help us ,more than in recent years, to keep the game respectable

The oline is bad. They have been pretty poor against inferior teams thus far. Tonight will be a good test, but is suspect they will be exposed. Hope I'm wrong.

In my opinion on a scale of 1 -10 for Talent / Experience

OL - 5 Talent / 2 Experience
DL - 7 Talent / 4 Experience

The coach who shall stay nameless forgot that in the SEC you need OL players and didn't recruit any. Big mistake! HUGE! Now we are a year off on OL than DL. Butch will have Worley in a Pistol or shotgun for the extra couple of seconds he needs to make completions.

Ok, that was my thinking! Hopefully Butch will put bodies in tonight.

LOL

Sorry had to be a smart a--. Just my nature.

To answer your question,

I am not at all confident that either of these lines currently have the talent to take this team to a championship level.

There are some guys that could develop like Jackson and Barnett but as a unit , I think both lines need more depth and talent.

I agree Completely! I have said this all year. Seriously, I honestly think he was the worst hire in College Football History!! Attack if you like I will not listen.

Watched some of 1st half ASU vs Miami. Miam O line was blowing pretty big holes for their RB's. They just seemed to be so much more space for the Miami RB's. ASU scored right before half still behind 27 to 14. Miamis line looked light years ahead of ours against the same foe and they got blowed out by Louisville earlier this year. Not a good sign
