Get pressure on Bennett, and contain him in the Pocket.

Protect the football, use up clock with long drives, and score more points.
Challenging for The Bulldogs offense to score points to get the lead if the Volunteers win TOP.

Just finished the video. Solid breakdown. Main point #1 is that the game comes down to Bennett vs UT defense. Main point #2 is that Tennessee runs more than they pass. Run to open up the passing game.

My reflection: if Kirby Smart can come up with a way to stifle the Vol run game, that will be the deciding factor in an unfortunate loss for us. However, with UGA injuries mounting and the attention that will be given to Hyatt, Tillman, McCoy, Keyton, etc... I don't think UGA will be able to focus on stopping the run.

My analysis/ prediction: UGA sells out to stop the run game early and we hit 2 long balls (1 sideline, one over the middle) that forces them to back off the run. We then succeed in 4+ yard per carry for the rest of the first half and force them to again focus on stopping the run. We exploit what we force them to adjust to and get more deep passes for a 2 touchdown+ win. In addition I believe Stetson will attempt to force passes into tight windows resulting in a -60% completion percentage and, I say this with some hesitation, a pick in the middle two quarters that keeps the stadium subdued and the Vols in control.

That's not to say UGA isn't capable or won't make a late push. UT will make some mistakes that keep it close at times, but I predict a 14-17 point win around a 44-30 final score.

GBO!

The coaches, I trust. That aside, here's the fantasy me throwing it, to see what sticks. First half, do the unexpected. Have Fant to slam bam the line to see if his heft can grind out a minimum of 5yds a charge. Intermediately, have Small and Wright follow Fants' HB blocking to see if we can gash them 8-10yds from time to time. Mid-way through the half, Ploesti Bomb Raid the Dawgs. Second half go back to what we usually do. I figure after halftime, Georgia will so confused, and demoralized, they will start playing undisciplined. Committing mental errors on offense and fouls on defense. All of which would let us sop up TDs like sopping gravy with buttered biscuits.

I approve all parts of this. Well done.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Make UGA stop what you do best before going away from what got you here. We watch the Vols make other coaches change what they do and make mistakes. If we change our philosophies first we take the L. To win the Vols must not win time of possession or become too tricky, they must simply dictate the flow of the game and wait for Kirby to panic and make mistakes. It's worked every game thus far. Don't out coach yourself.
