They looked so bad on offense. Watching Ewers running that offense gave me flashbacks of Pruitt and Guarantano. Yikes. Oh, and there's no way that stadium holds 100,000. It doesn't look like it's even remotely close to being as big as Neyland Stadium. We're the real UT!!!!! WGWTFAWTJTSEC (we gonna whip Texas' effing azz when they join the SEC)

That was one of the worst coached and played games I've ever seen.

We would've beaten either of those teams by fiddy.

They play in a conference that has brittle defenses.
The BigXII used to play interesting football. The teams should be stacked with all that TX talent, but they aren't. It is a coaching deficit.

I'm beginning to believe that recruiting ground is ripe for us to poach going forward.

We tried to watch the game last night but damn it was awful. Can someone remind me why we are inviting Texas into the SEC?
OU & Texas bring name recognition, winning traditions & big money. Two nice adds. Missouri and Arkansas are lessor in all areas. We could drop them.

WA and OR last night looked far better than TCU or Texas.

Quarterback play as bad as Pruitt and Guarantano is the ultimate cut imo - however - while I agree that Ewers is all kinds of awful including potentially being as bad as Guarantano, I think he might get the last laugh by getting someone at Ohio State to give him 1M in NIL money. He needs a haircut and to be holding a clipboard.

Flipped back and forth between Washington and Oregon and that TCU/Texas abomination. Gawd that game was awful. Arch shouldn’t have trouble beating out Quinn Ewers next year.

Ewers this year has been either pretty good or abysmal. Check out the QBR variation by game below. Yesterday was pathetic Ewers.

This.

Ewers' performance is polarized; either real good or real bad. He was really good against Oklahoma. Completely awful versus OK State. It's actually crazy that it's the same QB.

I suspect, however, that defenses have picked up on something as the year has gone on, as his performances seem to be getting worse.

Washington's offense was crisp.. They're good offensively. Texas will start Manning as soon as he gets there.

Based on Ewers performance I'd start the Sonic waiter if he or she showed up. That was terrible. Plus would be nice if they would teach their receivers to actually catch a football now & then.

I think they are still benefitting from the strength of the Alabama game. Kentucky was #24 so it's the point in the season where teams ranked 20-25 may have 2 or 3 losses and be ranked based on strength of schedule.

I wonder how they can claim 100K in that stadium too with endzones made like Nissan Stadium. When you look at the seating sideline to sideline there is a vertical lift to it that holds a sea of people.

Because the college football pundits want and need Texas (the state and the school due to its amount of outreach) to be good. If they can’t be good, they will try to make them look that way.
