I'm really excited to see what we put on the field this year, well every year, but this year for sure! I want to see a high scoring offense (28+ a game) and a much improved defense (<21 a game).
It won't be long!

Whatcha got?

If Milton can be consistent, we can have another great year. We need to get Georgia at home, and south Carolina. I'm actually concerned more about the Carolina game, lot of pressure by fans for revenge. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but still worried.

8-4

I think we lose to Bama, Georgia, A&M, and either Florida or KY.
Under no circumstance do we lose to Kentucky while Heupel is running the show. Their entire offense and defensive schemes are set up in our favor and I fully believe we continue to score 40+ points on them as we have the past 2 years. I just don't think they are set up to keep up with us. Just my 2 cents, of course.

FWIW they did not score more than 37 points in any game last year and only touched the 30's 3 times (31 2x) in 13 games, with the 3 opponents being Miami OH, Youngstown St, and N Illinois.

They should all be worried about us. Our front 7 are going to be lights out. That will make it easier in the corners and safeties.
Our offense will be fine with Milton Thornton will step in where Hyatt left off. RBs will take pressure off Milton. We are still going to average 40 a game. We will probably lose a couple but no more.

You may be right, but I've just learned over the years that when it comes to this team, never speak in absolutes! You could've said similar things last year regarding South Carolina. You just NEVER know.

I think the A&M game is the one most are overlooking. They struggled last year but they were also very young. They bring almost everybody back and Jimbo has been stockpiling talent. I think they could have a breakout season this year. We're certainly going to have to do our part to make that environment as inhospitable as possible.

28 a game, that would be a huge disappointment

Either it all clicks for Milton and we're world beaters, or it doesn't and it's a train wreck.

Seriously asking, if it doesn't work with Milton and mentally it's not clicking and no touch on his passes etc ........at what week do you cut your losses and throw Nico in as starter to prep for the next era? What's Milton's leash length?

Fair enough, would've never thought Rattler would have a career day and our defense never showed up.

I guarantee we will be 30+ offensively. Under 21 is pretty stout. I think we will be right around that but it’s tough with our system. I say we end up about 39 offensively and 19 defensively.

Run game is going to have to be the difference maker, replacing key OL players will be an adjustment. I think 9-3 but 10-2 is very doable.

Even if it doesn't "all click" it won't be a train wreck. We have too much talent across the board for this season not at least be decent. Milton showed enough vs Vandy and Clemson for that to be a safe assumption

I get that. Feast or famine is just what I "feel" like it's going to be. Lingering bvs and all that. Intellectually I know 8-4 is likely the floor. But heart doesn't always listen to head.

I think that depends on the how well the line/rb core are able preform and if Milton can be a more dynamic runner. He certainly has the size for it. If those 3 things click he may not need more than the long ball. An upgrade in the defense would help too. I think you have to be looking at shear disaster before you burn Nico's red shirt.
