How Will Hendrick Teams Share Wins?

Although there have been no points races won by Hendrick teams, to think they will not win soon would be unrealistic. My question is this; In 2007, Hendrick drivers won half of the races. Now that Dale Earnhardt, Jr is on the team, and for the sake of arguement, say they win half again, which Hendrick driver is going to win less if Dale, Jr wins his share. Or, do you think Hendrick teams will win even more races thereby not giving up anything?

I don't think the team is going to win anywhere near what they did last year.

Hendrick was so far ahead of everyone else in the COT learning curve it wasnt even fair.. Obviously Rousch, Gibbs, Penske, etc have caught up to them... HMS will win their fair share but nothing like last year

What I really am interested in is do you think the established Hendrick drivers will have to win less races in order for Dale, Jr to win, or will they as a group win even more races? If they win less, who drops the most?

first of all, i don't think there is any way JJ will win the title this year. something tells me, especially with the 16, 17, and 99 running well so far this year, that Jack Rousch is going to have something to say about it come November.

second, i don't think Dale Jr. has a strong enough team (i.e. crew chief) to get up and take it from the other guys. i have to see more from Dale Jr. before i would confidently say, he wants it.

i think there's going to be fewer races to win this year and Dale Jr. may be the one who gets left out.

I think Jr will win a few races... after a Shootout victory and 2nd at Vegas, hes already beat last years results.. I agree with you on the crew chief situation.. I dont think Hendrick will put up with Eurys decision making or lack there of (ie Daytona) for very long... at least I HOPE not... Grubb + Jr = Championship

I need a few more races to really form an opinion.So far
I love the more equal competition and hope it continues.
I have to think Hendrick is going to come back with strong results but until Toyota (Gibbs)gets a win under their belt and I can see Roush continue their new COT success,I still see a Hendrick Sprint Cup Championship in the end.
As a group,I don't see Hendrick winning half the races so maybe Junior wins a couple of races
that JJ or JG won last year.

Here is my guess that will be wrong at the end of the season.

1. Gordon 4 wins
2. Johnson 3 wins
3. Earnhardt 3 wins
4. Mears 1 win
