I’m not sure if the rules with the playoffs. For instance can we practice this week? Do we get a set number of practices? If I recall once you took a bowl bid you had like 14 or something. Anyway, thanks in advance

As soon as finals are over I expect them to kick it back into full gear. We won’t play again until December 20th or 21st so we will have 2 full weeks to prepare for whoever our opponent is. Give Heupel 2 weeks to prepare for anyone and this offense is going to be hitting on all cylinders.

We had some guys like Sampson and White banged up at the end of that game so the rest should be good to get them close to full health when we have to play.

Since it will be more than two weeks between our final regular-season game, we're allowed up to three practices per week of live contact and three days of noncontact or minimal contact per week. The day before and after live contact is noncontact or minimal contact.

Bru didn't play either and I believe Thornton got hurt after his second TD and didn’t come back. I also believe Peyton Lewis got hurt. So rest is well needed.

I'd say that UT coaches will be hitting the film hard right now to prepare for the 3-4 most likely teams that we will face, and work this week on UT centric error corrections. Once the opponent is finalized after the championship games next week, game prep for two weeks.

If I'm Heupel, I make everyone on the roster do cold plunges every day for the next 3 weeks. The team who handles cold weather the best in the first round will win the game, and if we have to travel to Columbus, Ohio or South Bend, Indiana - we will be at a disadvantage because their players have had more time to adjust to a colder climate.

The best example of how cold weather affects outcomes is that the Miami Dolphins are 0-8 in games where the temperature is 45 degrees or lower with Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback.

Man it’s got to be tough right now. Preparing for the game while at the same time trying to hold onto a recruiting class with early signing around the corner. On top of all that, trying to keep your own players here and figure out who is going to be healthy. Throw in NIL just for kicks
