First I hope this is the correct spot to post this if not I apologize.

I have a 10 month old daughter who absolutely loves being outside. This past weekend I took her to a softball tournament out at Gibbs and she loved it. Every time she heard the “ping” of the bat hitting the ball she would jump a little bit and start clapping her hands and talking. There were several times that the crowed got decently loud around us and she seemed to love the excitement. People on the other side of the field could hear her talking and laughing throughout the game.

So my question is..”How young is too young for kids to be a Lindsey Nelson to watch the Vols play”?

I think she would have a great time but I am curious to see what you all think.

Thanks:thumbsup:

Wow, if it she loves it I can't see any reason why she couldn't go. Just watch the foul balls. :p

Yeah she seems too!! She loves being outside and nothing really seems to bother her to much. My buddy's kids have dirt bikes and we went and watched them riding. The loud pipes and speed just made her smile and clap. I hear you on the foul balls!!:eek:k:

If she loves it take her. My daughter loves Predators games. She cheers with the crowd and claps. She's 17 months old now, but her first game she was 3 weeks old. (slept through the whole thing) Her favorite part is before the game when the lights go out and they show the graphics on the big screen and announce the players. She loves the excitement as I'm sure your daughter will with softball. Just take her, worst case it is a bad experience and you know to wait till next year.

Yeah it will have to be a good warm day maybe cloudy to keep her from being sun burned. Thank you all for your input!

I'm pleasantly surprised, this thread could have gone in a terrible direction.
