Hrvrd ("Harvard" without the "A"s) are a great indie-rock/experimental band from Charlotte, NC. I really think some of you guys would like them. This probably isn't the perfect description, but I think of them as a more edgy, less electronic Death Cab For Cutie. I could see these guys playing Bonnaroo, even though they're signed to Equal Vision, which is a "harder" label.
My band had the privilege of playing with these guys in May, and they were absolutely phenomenal live. Very tight set and great vocals. They were also very nice too.
Their first album was a little shaky, but From The Bird's Cage is absolutely great. This is a short one, but it's one of my favorites. Check it out.
