Meh, Romney and Bain will say they checked into investors' backgrounds and did not know of their link to these problems, opponents will say that they looked the other way on the issue. Given that it was almost 20 years ago, and the principals all have good reason to protect the integrity of the transactions, I doubt anything will come of it.
