Thursday will start us off with Duke @ Pitt then...

Saturday:

Georgetown @ Memphis
Texas @ Michigan St.
Tennessee @ Xavier
Mississippi @ Clemson
Stanford @ Texas Tech
Illinois @ Missouri

What are your thoughts on some of the games? There are three matchups featuring two teams that are unbeaten at the time of writing. Can Ole Miss keep it going til Saturday and possibly win three games in three days? How good is Clemson, and how will they take to the same test that stands in front of Ole Miss? Should Georgetown be in the discussion as possibly the best team in the country? Can Texas keep rolling?

Hat, what do you think of the Ole Miss - Clemson game, they seem to be two programs on the rise, is this a proverbial measuring stick game for both teams considering the stretch they both face in San Juan?

I think that game will give the winner a really solid NCAA resume. Both teams have some nice wins, but a neutral floor win over another team with a strong nonconference record would give the victor a leg up come March.

Good to see Memphis play some tough OOC competition before it starts it's usual gravy train run through their conference.

OK HAT I will hit ya with this. Is Julius Peppers the best player to ever play football and basketball. I guess the question would be who is the best B ball player you have ever seen play football also?

Allen Iverson, and it's not close. If you're talking about the collegiate level, Tony Gonzalez is the first guy that comes to mind.
