I'm curious as to how many of you think Freeze will coach at another top Power 5 conference school again?

There is no denying that the guy can flat out coach offense and scheme (No Pun Intended) but, I am curious as to others thoughts about him ever making it to a top school again.

Kiffin rehabbed under Saban. But, he is not at a power 5 school. Mike Price never made it to the big show. George O'Leary had success at UCF but never made it back either. I am sure there are some who have but, I cannot think of any.

I can't help but wonder if this article:

Hugh Freeze finds shelter at Liberty after Ole Miss scandals

Is an attempt to rebuild Freeze or not. It also states that the AD was the AD at Baylor when they were going through all of their troubles.

I don't think he'll be at Liberty for season three. Probably move on to a mid level school and accept a OC position. At that point he's one step away from a big job.
Yes I believe he will land a power 5 gig within 7 years.

Freeze is still so highly thought of as an offensive mind that it wouldn't shock me if he got a P5 chance somewhere, but he probably needs a couple more years of rehab. Those other names you mentioned - Kiffin, Price, O'Leary - aren't in the same position as Freeze. Price and O'Leary weren't thought of as innovators. Kiffin never has had a specific scandal per se and has a good offensive mind, but at the time of his "rehab" he already had a pretty poor body of work as head coach at USC.

I could see Hugh Freeze replacing Mack Brown at North Carolina in December 2021 when Mack goes back into retirement after three straight losing seasons.

Mike Norvell leaves Memphis either this year or next... enter Hugh Freeze. Match made in heaven.
Three good coaches coaches in a row for Memphis? Unprecedented in the annals of Tiger High. I'm not certain the universe will continue allowing Memphis nice things like that.
The locals would surely embrace Freeze with open arms as the prodigal son returning home.

Freeze more comparable to Bobby Petrino IMO, who did get another shot at a P5 school; albeit not a top tier program.
