Hunter signs with Angels

Torii Hunter is about to ink a deal with the Angels. As an A's fan, I'm saddened by this news. While not a great hitter, Hunter is definitely capable of giving Vlad the backup he needs. Also to think of Hunter and Vlad in the same outfield scares the crap out of me.

I was out in the LA area for Tgiving and read the LA Times when the deal was made. Commentary seems excited but somewhat perplexed - Angels didn't really need another CF, with Matthews Jr. in a $50mm contract, so they might try to move him now that they've got Torii.
