Coach Heupel used to approach every game as the hunter. He attacked. I get the sense that he feels hunted and is trusting his D to save the team. We need to trust our D, and go hunting more. Let it loose. Attack other teams. Become the hunter, aggressor again.

I agree brotha! Seems like we honestly have been playing scared football and relying on the defense way too much. I get it in the OU game but didn’t think it would carry over to the Arkansas game. Just giving Nico a couple of long balls isn’t gonna get him in a rhythm throwing them and not to mention everyone in the SEC plays pretty tight coverage so a PI is always in effect as well. Our run game is great but I just don’t think we have been attacking the way we should with a qb like Nico. One thing I’m tired of is these quick dump outs to squirrel and brazzell that always seem predictable and go for minimal yardage. How about we put one of the tight ends and bru over there and mess around with the play calls. Seems like our best game was when we got all those tight ends involved and they all seem to be able to block and make plays. Secondary like we all thought definitely has holes and aside from Jermod we are the worst we have been in years. If our d line and linebackers weren’t what they are then they would be getting exposed every game and very bad. Being this deep on dline is insane and probably the best in the nation in my opinion. Then you got Pili, carter, and Telander backing you up and that’s why our rushing defense is what it is. I have no doubt playing at home this week will boost these boys up and we will crush Florida but we gotta learn to win on the road! And for gods sake please burn those orange pants, never should be worn again after that punt return in Arkansas way back. Go Vols and the season isn’t over my friends

Agree...he got all the praise for playing small ball the second half of OK. Every game not the same.

We went from this team having an identity of kicking your ass offensively, to having no identity in 2 weeks. Something ain't right.

I get Andrew can appreciate being a run heavy offense, it's refreshing and we are overlooking Sampson's HUGE night at Arkansas. But the Vols had no answers to help Sampson out.

Defensive coordinators have decided they are not gonna get beat by our deep throws. They are gonna try n stop our runs with a light box and if they can't stop it, they are gonna make us drive the field by giving up 4-5 yard runs knowing, especially on the road, that our offense will penalize itself with motion or holding, or ineligible receiver, etc... which will put us behind the chains and end the drive. It wasn't successful at Oklahoma but it did work at Arkansas.
