With hunting season over tomorrow, at least in my neck of the woods, Just thought I would see how everyone did this year.

I was limited to the amount I could hunt so I've added no meat to the freezer and only saw a spike that I'll let grow for next year.

How about everyone else?

Worked too much to even get to go honestly.

Did get 2 with the dump truck. Luckily both were ok (wasn't a direct hit). Had them processed. One was given to a family in need and other is in my freezer

Have about 10-12 at any given time in the pasture.

Serious Clark?

Yes

I hunt in a unit L county. We are wrapped up in does

We have been doing QDM for a long time trying to get our buck to doe ratio to 1:1 or dang close

Problem is all the hunters on the land around us think that killing does is below them, so they mess up the ratio.

I don't mind. I have two huge freezers and pack them full

That's called management.

If the state of TN cared about it's sportsmen it would make a legal buck at least 3 on one side, imo and preferably 4.

That's the arkie way. 3 point rule
Oklahoma is a 4 point rule.

Got my five point less than 15 minutes into the first day I was out. And didn't see a thing else the rest of the time.

Agreed.

And like the count said... allow more does to be taken legally and preferable during the entire season.

I don't know about that.

If they did that with all the drunks around here you better wear a full body suit of blaze orange in the woods and then still hope the fooker isn't color blind...

That's the main reason I don't hunt anywhere but family land. I know who's in the woods with me and where.

Must be fooking far away from Gray. The whole NE region of TN sucks cause of trespass. imo

Down in Hawkins County. Close to clinch mountain. Far enough back into the woods where you're not welcome unless someone knows you. About 45 minutes both ways when i go.

I used to hunt back in Hancock County but it seemed like me and my dad were always having to run someone off. Gets old fast.

Hawkins compared to Hancock....lol

What did you have Kentuckyins crossing the border?

I hunted near the sand mine in Hawkins Co...

If you are hunting in Hawkins Co just wait...there will be some fookers from "Johnson City" that say they didn't see the sign.

I just don't understand how people can do it. My luck I'd run up on some deliverance type peeps who would just kill me.

Never Been to the sand mine. Where's it at?

It's an active mine on 11E. The sand is so pure that they got silica there for the space shuttle. You can hear it for miles "when you're hunting"

That is probably a good thing seeing how a nice buck mates with multiple does if your going for the 1:1 ratio.
