I guess I don't understand the criticism here. I doubt very seriously that it was Obama who personally asked for it and that instead it was the Secret Service who requested it. To be honest, I just sort of assumed this happened a lot, regardless of who the president is.

Possibly, but with this pres. you don't have to assume. I had never heard of it until now.

Well joevol posts it. He got it no doubt from either Fox or Drudge. It seems to be part of the effort to portray Obama as a prima donna. I heard mention of it on the radio yesterday and expected some sort of explanation for why it is so unusual or meaningful and there was none.

I really don't think most people are all that surprised or put off by it and assume its a security thing. I still don't get what the issue is.

I do take a measure of perverse delight in seeing that the right wing propaganda machine is flailing around trying to get traction with anything.

Savage was on last night. He had a "reporter" on the air with him was going on about two things: one being that a portion of the Quran that Obama quoted contains other parts that have been cited by terrorists in the past as part of the jihad argument. The second was that apparently every single person in Israel is convinced that Obama has sold them out and that Obama is intentionally creating the atmoshphere for a war that he wants in the Mid-East.

I personally think that England's banning of Savage for his views and comments is unjustified. By the same token, he is really going to the extreme with the Obama is a Secret Agent Muslim theory.

oh get real lawsheep. if this came out from the Bush admin. it would be on every media outlet. your boy olbertool would talk about it every day. i'm pointing out the constant double standard and hypocrisy of your media.
