No, I’m not predicting a sweep. On the road in Columbia is very tough. Just thought it would be fun to gauge y’all’s thoughts on the likelihood of an SEC championship if it happens. It’s possible. With this team, nothing seems impossible.

We also have to keep an eye on the Vandy and Kentucky series tonight. Many think that Vandy will sweep since it's at home and the Cats are reeling. It'd be nice if the Cats avoided the sweep. Anything is possible. After all, who'd thought that Mizzou would win a series at MS State last weekend.

If we sweep and Arkansas loses 2 than that would put Vols at 21-9 and Ark at 20-10. So we would win the SEC regular season correct? I am confused as to how we don't get the 1 seed?

This. Arkansas is up a game and has the tiebreaker. So if they go 2-1 and we sweep we’re “co-champs” with them as the 1 seed. If we sweep and they lose the series we Lee the #1 seed. I don’t want to be pessimistic but I see us being the 3 seed when the dust settles. I just don’t see us sweeping and I think Vandy sweeps UK at home and there’s absolutely no way Arkansas loses the UF series at home.

Keep in mind FL is only 1 game behind, although we do have the tie-breaker. It would be nice to win the SEC, but even if we end up second, we take care of the other business and still have a good chance to win the SEC tournament, then have a shot to win a Natty. GBO.
