The position of Offensive Coordinator comes open and the VN gets to hire this new coach. What would be his qualifications, needed experiance, leagues coached in etc. ?

I'd recommend he be deaf, wear a bulletproof vest and not ever have internet access.

Sarge come on. We all know that you think Randy Sanders is under qualified to be OC. You have made your point. Like it or not he is our coach this year.

Your right cbc, it was all cut. It had nothing to do with Peyton Manning. :moon2:

That was not my direction. I was plainly curious. Honest. Good answer GaVol. :mf_surrender:

Why cause he got injured and didn't make it in the pros?

Shuler was a top notch College QB with a Pro arm. He had 3 things go wrong.
He left college a year early
He got drafted to the wrong team and coach who hung him out to dry in contract negotiations
He couldn't read defenses very good

:D cbc, you said our best offenses were under cut. :dunno: That implies that it was because of him. I was merely pointing out that our most productive offensive years were under Manning. In 1998 our offense was not near as explosive but you had loads of talent: Henry, Stephens, Lewis and the big plays of Peerless, not to mention our line play. We actually played pretty conservative that year since it was Tee's first year. I think that was probably a bad thing for Fulmer.

If everyone is in a hurry to get rid of Sanders then get down on your knees and pray hard for an NC.

Even if we did get rid of him ( which I am not saying we should) you and I both know that Fulmer would never bring in a high profile guy and run some new wide open offense.

That's right. He had a chance when Cut left, he instead hired someone who he knew would never leave UT and would do what Fulmer told him to do

I bet in 3 years Urban Meyer is available after getting run out of Gainesville. :dance2:

Sanders is here as long as Fulmer is , When that happens it will be a completely new staff top to bottom.

Bill Battle, now that we are facing a wounded Bama... :yahoo: j/k In all honesty I like Coach Sanders, but since U-T said Johnny Majors, I just thought of somebody who had a good record, but just couldn't beat the bear.
