I'm coming up for the open practice Saturday but I heard today that there's construction work on a bridge at mile marker 347, and to plan on losing at least an hour. Can anyone in the Kingston area confirm this? Looking at possibly taking exit 329, and getting back on I-40 at exit 350. Is there a better way around it? Thanks in advance.

Its not all that bad. I drove through it today and didn't have to slow down all that much. You should be fine

Cool. Since it's not too bad, I'll just leave a little early and ride it out. Thanks for the info. :good!:

It's hit or miss...had to sit for 45 minutes going through. Now, we get off the exit at Newport, and go through Dandridge. The bridge is down to one lane each direction...so it's all going to depend on the traffic flow coming in.

That's not near Kingston...

I live in Kingston, the bridge is a non issue. It actually almost complete, maybe down to 55 but that's about it. Don't waste your time getting off of 40.

Awesome! Thank you. I was afraid I'd get stuck in construction traffic and end up being late.

Yes, the last time I checked the bridge is too tall and too slow to play running back.
