The Patriots failed tonight. This is very damaging, and I'm sure makes them very sick. This will be tough to ever get over. If a team could ever not let this linger into next season it's the Pats. I hate it for guys like Seau who have put everything into this year. Still, the Patriots still will be the best team going into next season, but I bet they'll take the regular season a little less seriously. I can't imagine what they could possibly be feeling right now. For the first time ever Bill, Brady, etc. have came up short in the big game. I'm still stunned, but congratulations to the Giants for proving everyone wrong. I hate Eli, but that last drive showed some great toughness on his part.

Bill Belichick, Randy Moss, and Rodney Harrison are three individuals that I respect the most in the world and too see them lose is incredible. I know they've lost before, but I feel like this is a dream

I just love the fact that they could care less about public opinion and go out and do it there way, and are winners. I can't believe they lost

They also cheat, beat on women and generally think they are better than everyone else.

Believe it. New York punched them in the mouth from the get-go (far more physical). 12/29 was not an aberration.

Rodney Harrison is the dirtiest player in the NFL.

I give all credit to NY. Plaxico didn't have a great game, but the result backed up his talk. Eli stepped up and players stepped up, while NE didn't have that. It's usually a total 180

I don't think NE played a poor game or anything. The O-Line did have their worst game in forever, but the Giants have a phenomenal D-Line. Brady played OK, but I think Welker would have been the MVP if the Pats had pulled out the W. The Pats D was obviously solid. Ultimately, I think the game was more about Eli stepping up into the upper echelon of QBs and having the drive of his life more than the NE defense failing.

I agree with your comment about it being more about Eli stepping up than about the Patriots defense failing. However, I think the Giant's ability to put constant pressure on Tom Brady had the biggest impact on the ultimate outcome of the game.

I actually agree 100%. That was the most pressure Brady has had on him in a long, long time. That NE OL is the best in the business, but they got pushed around tonight.

Their guard going down maybe had an impact on their protection, I don't know, but the Giant defensive ends played great.
