That was the claim of Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit, as reported in the May 2010 issue of Israel Today. According to journalist Avi Lipkin, Gheit appeared on Nile TV's "Round Table Show" in January, on which he said that "he had had a one-on-one meeting with Obama who swore to him that he was a Moslem, the son of a Moslem father and step-son of Moslem step-father, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Moslems, and that he was loyal to the Moslem agenda."

I'm not one to trust PEW all that much, they publicly state that part of their mission is to influence public opinion.

At any rate Obama isn't the big rock star he pretends to be in the rest of the world no matter how much ass he kisses and all that is beside the point, what really matters is what people here in America think and I find it appalling that he still has something like a 40% approval rating.

No doubt the people at PEW would characterize themselves as centrists but even a cursory examination of the evidence reveals them to be about as leftist as any group out there and they have tons of money to throw around also.

If one checks out the articles linked in the column at the left of the link above one will get a far more realistic idea of what muslims really think than one would get from reading the AP, Gannet, NY and LA Slimes, Newsweak or from watching ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC or even FOX.
