Hey to all. This is the greatest board on the net!

I have recently moved into the 21st Century and got a cell phone. I would like to get "Rocky Top" on my phone and use it as a ring tone. Can anyone tell me where I can get it on the net? I can also program/compose the song on my phone but I can not read music. I have instructions to enter notes a through g. If any one can give me the notes in letter form I would appreciate it very much.

Being a newbie what does IMO mean?

Thanks in advance!

I got it for my Samsung from www.cingular.com. I am a Cingular customer, so I just downloaded it from the site.

I can play a radio and that's it. Sorry.

Being a newbie what does IMO mean?

In my opinion...

Thanks in advance!

You are very welcome.

I could help you with that, but I am kinda thrown from the a to g thing. Are the instructions that you are talking about related to the phone instructions or what someone told you? Also, can you do sharps and flats on the phone notes?

Sorry. The instructions are for the phone. A small piano keyboard appears on the phone screen with the keys identified as c, d, e, f, g, a, b. A keypad number is pressed for a different note. The instructions tell me I can raise the note one semitone or I can lower the note one semitone, I dont know if that is a sharp or flat. I can also make the note shorter or longer and change the octave. I know nothing about music so most of this is Greek to me.
