After all the nonsense we have been through to finally land a coach with some actual qualifications. N0=brainer. Learn to like it. I just hope Bray goes.

I would like to thank coach Jones for having the balls to take this down and out program. One interviewer asked him of his concerns of being in the SEC and he said he was born for this shiz. Also asked about Bama's dominance, he laughed and said he's abused a midget before in Tijuana.

I also am very excited about the Jones hire. Cinci was 12th in the nation in points against and lord knows the vols need defence... Butch will be a much better hire than dooley thats for sure. Tn was going to have problems bringing in a top head coach anyways..

I thought as lifelong fans of UT Football we would expect to win NC's every year. This hire should have been a home run. If Mr. Jones is such a great coach, why did he pull away from the CO job? Why didn't AU or Ark interview him? Was he first in line at any SEC school last year or the year before. As Vol fans, we should have higher expectation to win games, divisional championships and national championships. This hire was so important in fact that even businesses were getting involved because of poor merch sales, declining attendance at local establishments and so on. Mr. Hart as a grad and as a fan, this hire was as exciting as getting life in solitary confinement......

If you're excited about this hire,then watching paint dry must really give you a thrill.

I am excited about Dooley being named the head coach.
No, this was not our first choice, but he turned the lowly La. Tech program around and even won a bowl game.

He is a Nick Saban clone and has pro coaching experience.

He has coaching in his pedigree.

He was the recruiting co ordinator for Saban's LSU team that won the National CHampionship.

This has success written all over it. I love this hire!!!!!

Looks like he turned down offers from Colorado and withdrew his name from Purdure. So he has some qualifications unlike Dooley.
