After getting eviscerated by USC Jr., they went back to the drawing board and figured it out. 2 picks, and they shut down the red zone to the ACC Champs. Clemson may not be final 4 material this year, but they aren't chumps. And we made Dabo choke on a hamburger to boot ( I'm always happy when that pompous toad gets stuffed . So....Happy New Year to all of you, stay safe, and let's look forward to next fall.

In particular, Aaron Beasley was awesome last night... and he is coming back next season.

They played well as a unit and definitely rose to the occasion. I’m proud of each and every one of them, especially the line and linebackers. Beasley= Banks, but better and without the penalties and drama.
They laid the wood to Shipley and Klubnick all night, and the plan to blitz instead of sit in coverage was masterful. Well done!!

I am proud of our defense for having the fortitude to keep playing hard. I would like to see them take a step forward next year.

Before the half I was worried they might burn out since the offense wasn’t really bailing them out. Nope, they brought the heat all night long! So exciting to watch!
They must have all had a shot of Five Hour Energy. They certainly left it all on the field.

I thought they performed better but still need to learn to turn their heads and spot the frikin ball!
It’s funny because my most exciting play of the game came the one time Slaughter turned his head and smacked the ball down. I would’ve passed out in pure shock had it not been for the adrenaline

Our D was gouged several times but when they needed to make that crucial stop, they took care of business most of the time. I keep telling fans at the game, I just don't think they can keep this up for the rest of the game. But they did!

SO proud of our boys last night!!!!

I admit I was concerned about losing J. Banks, given the disaster our defense brought to the S. Carolina game, without Jeremy. I still have no idea what happened in the locker room prior to that game and don't see any reason to get into it at this point.
We can absolutely say that our defense in the Orange Bowl was "over it"...whatever it was. They played their hearts our..."Gave Their All for Tennessee" in no uncertain terms.
GBO...!!!!
