I am so done with this fanbase. I know not everybody is like this or maybe not even half. This staff is one of the best in the country, and everyone needs to get off of their back. Look at the amount of work they have put in, and all they have done IN LESS THAN A YEAR. Am I disappointed in how we have played the last three games? Yes. But look at the teams we have played.. Possibly the three best in the conference. So please do me a favor, and support through the down times. I promise you Butch is going to be the man to bring us back. Just be patient. As always... Go Vols.

I agree. The 6 games we have lost was to top 10 or 15 ranked teams at the time we lost to them.

It's not gonna happen overnight folks.When they beat South Carolina,I was afraid this crap would start.I never want to hear TN has the best fans in the country unless we're talking about being fairweather fans.

I stopped reading when the OP said best staff in the country. I find it hard to believe that the best staff in the country has been at Cincy for the past 3 years.
I think BJ is the man for the job , but he should of surrounded himself around better coaches.

well we were 4-6 last year at this time and here we sit at 4-6 again

This will be the best staff in the country.. They just don't have the athletes yet. Look at what they have done with a very limited talent base.. Their time is coming. I just hate the fanbase/most of volnation gets this way every. single. year. It takes time to build a program.

If you have a dead shot at tackling a ball carrier it doesn't make one bit of difference how good of an athlete he is unless he has a force field around him. :disappointed:

We are all frustrated, we all share that. We just express it in different ways.

The fact we are all here means we still care.

To say this staff is one of the best in the country is just ridiculous at this point. I think they have the potential to do very good things here even with no changes. I have confidence that this staff will get things turned around but they have to get more out of the team than they have the past few games. To call our performance embarassing is putting it gently but thats what its been. No doubt we need a lot more talent and speed but there is plenty of room for improvement for the coaches too.

What can I say , I'm an end results guy.Butch could lose to Vandy and UK, and become the first UT coach to lose 8games in a year and I will be more ticked, or he could beat both and go bowling which is a good thing. We shall see ...end results.

Yeah, right now they're not the best staff in the state of Tennessee. There's a better one in Nashville.

I think we need another thread calling out the fan base . I'm absolutely sure the people starting these threads stayed 100% positive during the last 3 games.
