Look at OK and Look at us and see our needs..and our plan of action

1. Need to get more OL- Have 4 committed 3- in top 20 in the nation in their position. 1 tackle Jones and 2 Guards Stewart and Bowlware.. One the hunt for one more Tackle

2. Need to get bigger at DT- Picou, KM and Soon to be Tuttle

3. Another play maker at WR- P Williams

4. More Depth at DE- Butcher and Ford, Dylan Jackson and Maybe Phillips

5. More Depth at LB- Cherry and Smith and maybe Sapp

6. Another Back- Kamara, Scott

7. QB with a stronger arm-Dormady

8. More Depth at DB- Covered 2 more coming next fall

More tota athletes - J Jennings, Bruce, Griffin, Oliver.

More Speed and Power and size is coming to UT

Bottom line-Follow the plan... It is working..

Jones never quits coaching... Even chewed on Worley at the end after getting his nuts crushed all night. We have a winner in coach jones.. Give him time

Go follow the Sooners if you want to win now. This team is very improved and played a much better, deeper team tonight. No one liked getting beat like that but I saw a ton of fight and improvement, except in the OL. The OL will get better too. Give it time!

Get a decent OC and you could be talking nine wins next year.

I'm not giving up on Bajakian yet, but he frustrates the heck out of me sometimes. Thought he made some nice play calls in the 2nd half to get the run game going, but I'm beyond tired of seeing the read option over and over when Worley never keeps the ball. It's a wasted play if Worley won't keep it from time to time. The qb keep was there all night long as the OU defensive end consistently crashed down on the rb. Keep the dang ball some or trash the play all together. I want to see the Bajakian that called the UGA game last year when he made some big calls on the 4th and shorts. Go big or go home! Conservative play calling isn't going to cut it with the quality defenses we face in this conference, and with a non-conference team like OU.

1. I'm excited for our immediate future– I think we'll all be proud as fans to watch our guys (many freshmen) compete– they are competitive and that is always fun to watch.

2. When we played Oregon the first time, I was not excited about our "rematch" opportunity. I am SO excited to face Oklahoma again next year.

The '90s effect.

its true. I was born in 87, Raised on the golden era of VolBall and now am witnessing the lowest of the low. It is so completely ridiculous the difference between that high and this low. When we beat florida in 2004 I ran all over the house until I fell down crying after that 50 yarder. I would do almost anything for a feeling like that again.

..... :eek:lol:

If you can't see improvement with this football team and are so determined to degrade them because you want to win now, then I'm sure Bama is still accepting bandwagon fans. Just sayin! These kids fought hard for 60 minutes and that's really the only thing you reasonably could expect from such a young group on the road for the first time against the #4 team in the nation. I fall into that realist Vol fan category, and I was very pleased with what I watched tonight. We got punched in the mouth early, could have stayed down like the Oregon game last year, but instead got right back up and punched them back in the mouth. Our defense has drastically improved, Worley has shown he is ready to lead the offense, we got playmakers at the skill positions, and we didn't quit when faced with adversity. We've greatly improved everywhere except the offensive line, which is what is holding us back from contending for the SEC. Even the SEC Network is talking positively about our effort in Norman tonight. The scoreboard is all that matters, but it didn't really tell the tale of this game. It was much closer than the final score indicated, and while we never really were a threat to win, we were just a couple of plays away of having a really close game against a big time team on the road.

Our kids played their hearts out tonight . Lack of experience and some big mistakes took them out of the game . It is a maturation process both mentally and physically for this team . They lost but they sure didn't lay down.

We turned the ball over in the end zone! If those were converted then it is a 28-24 game. Sitting in the stadium and talking with OU fans confirmed my thoughts that we are on the way back. The D hit OU in the mouth and most of their big plays came off a bust. The O Line just wasn't ready but the left side came to play in the second half and ripped some big runs. This old man said he's glad we aren't playing later this year as those pups are growing up right in front of our eyes.
