I have no clue who I am voting for, so if you support a candidate fully, tell me why you are voting for this person and what they could help change in this screwed up nation of ours.

Every one is in your boat, no one is going to change any thing.

I'll focus alot more when it is cutdown and their are clear cut favorites, but right now I like Huckabee.

After a lot of thought, I have decided to write my father's name in. I encourage you to do the same. He has volunteered to be a puppet - and I will be pulling the strings. If I were old enough, I would just write my own name in, but oh well....we can't be picky. Just write in TennTradition, Sr. I am looking for shadow cabinet positions - convince me why I should put you on it, and you may just find a spot. Don't worry, OE...you're already the Secretary of Post Padding.

Hey, now that I think of it, so am I. This is almost as good as when I turned 25 and became old enough to rent a car.

I'm just short on the age requirement. But I'm accepting the nomination for Secretary of State.

I'll admitt it, I got star struck with the thought of a great world leader emerging out of Thompson, heck he was a great before he jumped in. I mean he put out that awesome video about Micheal Moore, pretty much telling him to go to hell with all of his leftist propaganda. He looked like he would be the kind of president that people would listen to accross the globe and once again america would gain crediblility in the world's eyes. But once again as soon as he hit the trail and it became real for him he totally dropped the ball. If he would get back on track (doubtful) and get that fire in his belly again he could pull the voters from other camps. BUT right now he just sounds like more of the same and R's/D's alike do not want anything that even reminds us of W

There are other ways for America to regain credibility besides making them listen to you...which is essentially what Thompson would try to do a'la Reagan, IMO. I would just like to see us stop lying to allies and enemies alike on issues of national importance (either directly or though omission).

Agreed, thus why I'm not a "fredhead" anymore, and admitting that I am still searching

I'm still stuck trying to either convince myself to stomach McCain's moderate tendencies or the suspicion I have that Huckabee is a complete lightweight..

I guess that (as if I need more proof) this is another indication that I lean a lot more left than right. I'm trying to decide whether McCain's alliance with Bush over Iraq over the last few years is enough to keep me from voting for him....I haven't ruled it out yet, but I don't like him as much as I used to (probably because he reminded me he is still somewhat a conservative )

Think so? It seemed that this was part of his plan. Are his ground campaigns in Florida, New York, etc. not going well?
