I am truly interested to know...

I have been on both LSU and ARKANSAS sites all week listening to all of the different views on who will win the battle of the boot.

I want an outside opinion, a team who has played both.

Don't worry, I am ready to hear the truth, no hurting my feelings.

Also another thing I have learned this week is that Tenn fans have much more class than the LSU fans present.

Same old story for LSU. They probably should win, but I don't think they'll beat the Hogs.

LSU has one of the best defenses in the country. However, I don't think they can contain McFadden and Jones. Russell is prone to making mistakes. Therefore I think Arky will beat the Bayou Bengals.

that said, the only thing keeping LSU from that is the amount of mistakes they made that allowed us to hang around and have a shot in that game.

If LSU plays mistake free...they can probably play with just about anybody...and they could beat the Hogs.

Good news for ARK is they don't play a style of football that lends itself to making mistakes...LSU does.

I think Ark will wind up winning in the end.

Well, not taking into account that Ark beat the crap out of us while Lsu slipped past us...I think Ark will win for three reasons.

1. Its Arkansas' year. Its just one of those things that when its your year youre almost unstoppable. I know its not tangible, but it just seems like everything has fallen into place...close wins against bama and vandy, clutch win against auburn, getting lsu and tennessee at home, switching qbs and not missing a beat.

2. Arkansas' corners dominated UT's wrs, which was surprising to me because our wrs are pretty big. If they can do the same to Lsu, youll get at least two picks off Russell and hold them to less then 17.

3. No one has stopped Mcfadden. And it seems like Arkansas is smart about getting the ball in his hands no matter what and moving him around in formations so that every play seems different. I cant imagine him being slowed dramatically since every team knows they need to stop him, focuses on him, and yet he still drops 150+ on them.

LSU is the faster team. I remember watching the first offensive series at Neyland against LSU and wondering how in the world we could keep up with those guys all night. They have national championship speed.

They are also more mistake proned. Jake is right. If LSU plays mistake free, I don't think the Hogs can handle them. I am going to take LSU by 4.

yep lex that's the thing...can LSU play mistake free...if they don't, ark plays the kind of football that keeps the ball ouf ot J Russell's hands and their ability to score.

it all comes down to lsu's mistakes. o/t that, on pure talent, lsu has the advantage on both sides of the ball.

it will be interesting to see how LSU's d does against the ark running game...should be a great game.

Macfadden does a number on LSU's defense and JR hands the ball back to Ark's offense at least twice. Hogs by a touchdown.

You all mightrun the ball, but I'm sure they've zeroed in on the fact that Monk is the only thing going in the Hogs WR corps.

I'm pretty sure they'll get physical with him and bring heat on Dick, Mustain whoever all day long. As far as their offense when they line up trips to any side watch the 2 flankers will jet off the line and then block and #80 will do a 5 and in screen type pass. If you can stop that you will stop their passing game because Russel has brain farts on any other pass than that.
