and shut up all these Arky fans. My god they are everywhere. Coming out of bushes and stuff.

One good season and you would think they were USC.

Blah blah blah, Darren McFadden, BLah Blah Blah.

I have felt like we are going to win this game for a while. I feel less comfortable without Ainge. I think that our receivers believe that a healthy Ainge gets them the ball and they can do amazing things with it. But...they have to develop that same confidence in JC...or we'll have a bunch of drops. Regardless, I'm still seeing a W here for the Vols.

I think we beat Arkansas 33-23 Crompton going 28-22 for 2 TD's 2 ints...haredesty for 106 yards....coker for 92 yards....wade 2 ints 1 for a td.

I will eat a ton of crow if we hit those rushing numbers. People have been coming in here all year spouting crazy rush numbers like that. I know CPF worked with the o-line this week and all that...but how are we suddenly going to find our rush-block this far into the season?? I'm not saying I hope your wrong..but I'm afraid to say I think you are. I still see a win though...with a better than expected run block and a sharp QB/WR connection (after the 1st quarter) and a present but not great running game.

We win by a TD.....at the most a TD and FG.....but I don't see the latter happening...Arky can say what they want about Crompton getting his first taste of the road in SEC play in a big game but IMO, yeah Ainge is a good play maker but Crompton has more BIG play impact than Ainge does, just because he can scramble if needed and make good plays.....I think that has to be an advantage for us

Oh, this question may have been answered/asked in another thread and forgive me if it has but will we even see Ainge in the game today? If not 100% I really hope not

I hope we get the ball 7 times so we can score that much. The Hams will run it down our throat. Field position and time of possession will be huge.

Hopefully our pass game can counteract that.

So your 100% sure you are going to win huh?

This is on Tennesse blog.

I just can't wait to see our running game which is being talked about for the whole week, and our running defense, evev though it is hard to expect a sudden redemption.

Go, Crompton, it's the time for you! Go Big Orange!

I like how after one good season, Arkansas is "national title huntin"...time for a reality check

You know CBC, if Morley had of just extended his arrm a few more centimeters and knocked down the fourth down pass against LSU, everyone would have been picking us against Arkansas and the pundits would have been talking about us possibly getting in the BCS Championship game mix etc.

My point is we still have the Same team as if the above sernario had occurred. There is no reason why we can't upend the Arkansas fast train to glory, the way they did us in 1992 and 1999!:whistling:

Wow... it's been 4 hours... haven't you all gone away yet? Arky still isn't playing for the national championship... I'll bet on it...

Yep your right. We are not playing for the national championship, we are playing for the SEC championship. But until that time comes, our focus is beating Mississippi state.

Arkansas could be playing for the national championship now. Will they make it? Probably not. No offense to that team...I have seem it with my own eyes...they are darn good. But they have a long road. However, it is that long road that makes every game one game closer to the NC. If they win out and Cal beats USC..it could happen. But..that probably is dependent on a blow out in the showdown next week in Columbus.
