They won’t jump Miami. Clemson still controls their destiny.
It doesn’t matter if Clemson controls their destiny. They’ll be ranked higher than them on Tuesday. You said they won’t jump anyone in front of them and they absolutely will be ranked higher than Clemson. Doesn’t mean they get in the playoffs but they’ll be ranked ahead.

It’s moot. Doubtful they jump Miami.

We’ve already seen 2 loss teams ahead of 1 loss teams with better resumes, i.e. UT and UGA ahead of Indiana this week. SCar’s resume is better than Miami’s. Their best win is likely 7-5 UF. Scar has wins vs Mizzou, AM and Clemson.

It’s possible but still moot. They aren’t passing enough teams to make the playoffs. Bama and ole miss won’t drop behind them. If smu happens to lose in the acc championship they still might make it.

You don’t know that…

South Carolina has a great chance to get in.

I do think South Carolina has a shot of being ranked as the first team out. The committee values head to head until they dont it seems.

Head to head only matters whenever it benefits Alabama. It’s in the bylaws.
It is in the bylaws! In fact, they should just go ahead and amend the bylaws to automatically include any former champion, like the Masters does. That would spare us from hearing the lame reasoning the Playoff Committee would come up to justify their selection of an undeserving 3-loss Bama team!

The "committee' will do what they usually do. Pick their favorites and then make evidence to support what they have done. We know the big 10 will get slots they don't deserve so somebody will stay home. And all the talk about SOS only seems to matter in the pre-season to get initial rankings. Then a win over an FCS school will matter more than losing a 1 point game to a top 10 team on the road.

It's interesting to me that a lot of Virginia Tech fans want him and they're all mad at the University for not having him. Carolina is playing well, but he's just so psycho. I could never trust him if I was running a business.

That’s an absolute shame Clemson has a chance to get in. The scoring difference in games they have played against ranked teams is pitiful. If they played in the second they would have five or six losses

Beamer also has been mentioned for Ohio State if Day is let go. Beamer is a motivational genius and owns the month of November.

Congratulations to a Tennessee alum - Masters Degree - Shane Beamer and his Gamecocks.
