What did the Memphis BB commit mean by this?

Oops ... it was 'the way they acted'

He was complaining about "negative" recruiting. At least that is my understanding of the situation.

Rumor has it that the kid planned to major in basketball, but minor in stage acting at his university of choice. When he visited UT and found out that Tennessee's professors taught the more naturalistic Strasburg (Method) technique as opposed to the imagination-based Meisner technique employed at Memphis, he balked, saying "I didn't like the way they acted over there."

He'll be better off at Memphis, anyway. Playing for Pastner, he will then be able to exercise his imagination to envision all the championships he would have won at Tennessee. :cray:

I can't believe we make people take their own SAT.

I think it's clear that UT will never be able to recruit Memphis very well. "Negative" recruiting could be anything from CBP saying "You have to make grades here," or "You have to come to all voluntary workouts in my program." It's negative to kids who don't want to have to do all of those things.

CBP did not praise Starkville enough....

Poor kid sounded like he could not speakee de english. Crawford is a semi literate guard who will get beaten with the Barton's when they play CBP. He was told by Pastner to make UT sound bad because they are still going against us for Tarik Black (who they will probably get also IMO).

Bottom line is that Tiger High does not miss often on hometown kids.

Another fact is that TN would have a MASSIVE budget surplus if we could give Memphis to MS or Arkansas.

I thought you wanted Crawford?

Crawford would've been the best thing since sliced bread if he had chosen TN. Maybe , just maybe cbp was being disrespectful to the other schools and the other coaches. And maybe the other schools were not doing it to TN . just a thought:p
