From Rivals:

Once Tennessee colors Opryland Hotel orange when it convenes there on Dec. 26, Dooley is closing all practices to media. Recruits, however, are likely to be able to check out the Vols' practices --- and a few extra days in close proximity to the state's top-ranked player, Antonio Richardson, as well as other prospects who could venture to see UT, never is a bad thing.

and that's yet another reason why going to a bowl game - any bowl game - is a good thing. (a world of difference from not)

It's funny how prior to 2005 going to a bowl game was taken for granted by most Vol fans, myself included. In our glory days I can remember being so pissed when we made (what I thought then) a "toilet bowl" game that I wished we didn't even have to go. Then 2005 hit and we were sitting at home while the Wyomings of the world went bowling. Changed my whole perspective.
