with that being said, what is TN's main issue? They seem to do pretty well against the teams they should beat, then lay an egg against the good teams. Do you think they miss Sr. leadership from Lofton?

We need to stop using the youth card. Last night Pearl played Maze, Tatum, Prince, Smith, and Chism for the last 7 or so minutes in regulation and overtime and they couldn't pull it out. Our problem is that the team is as dumb as a box of rocks, too many mental mistakes.

the score was like 68-68 for about 724 minutes and that squad just kept laying eggs.

I'm not really sure but your avatar has set a whole new level of sweaty palms.

People use the youth card because we are YOUNG. Maze was a juco and playing against farmboys last year so that doesnt exactly make him experienced even though hes a junior and Prince is really in his 2nd year of getting alot of minutes as he never really played at Arizona and is playing hurt and Tatum is a rFreshman so to me that = a young team. Chism and Smith are the only guys on that team that have played a bunch of minutes in the last couple seasons therefore we are young and that is why we use that card

It seems as if Hopson doesnt want the ball, or Tatum.. Wooldridge panics and launches 3's from no mans land..
Maze is timid to drive for some reason..
Prince is over confident at times..

Chism is playing well along with Smith, i cant complain about them except for the BS threes that they shoot..

B. Williams seemed better at the end of last year and the beginning of this year.. He has regressed..

Tabb is never gonna be a star, he just stays about the same since he was a freshman..

we are young and i understand but people need to stop using that as a reason for every loss. You can spin it any way you like but we were playing 4 juniors and a rs frosh. that's plenty of experience.

IMO Tyler Smith needs to step up and lead this team. There have been stretches when hes in the game where he has been almost invisible. However, it was good to see him step up late in the 2nd half against the Zags...may be a sign of things to come?? I think this team will eventually find its identity. They'd better or its going to be a long season.
