I like Butch and I support him, but what happens if Worley gets hurt in the Georgia game? You throw a guy to the wolves with no experience? If Worley is way better than the other two freshmen, then fine, but if he is not then at least one of them needs to get their feet wet and have a chance to compete. What do we have to lose?

Because we might hurt one of their fragile egos if they play too early. Frosh QBs are like baby bird eggs, apparently.

For some reason, our freshman are just too raw and fresh to play.

I mean, they might throw 3 INTs or something.

They can't hear you Ramsey!

Gotta wait until Worley gets hurt against UGA or bama etc

Saying they need to replace him is one thing, but "getting some reps" during a 14 point game is dumb.

I guess this is this week's "why isn't Peterman starting" trend.

Backup qb's - most popular players on a struggling team

You're normally right on target, but I disagree here. At least these freshman can build experience. With Worley, we're gonna lose anyway, so why not give the freshmen valuable PT.

No, that is not what I am asking. I am asking, with Peterman out, what happens if Worley gets hurt? A freshmen will come in with no experience. That concerns me.

we're in a 14pt game. You don't take the chance that something could go really wrong like last week

Worley IS that chance at this point. Bad incomplete passes and interceptions. No offensive rhythm with the defense giving up points. I mean, I'm not knee-jerking right now. I just think its time to prepare for the future. Just my opinion.

I never thought peterman deserved any snaps. He showed little, if any, promise when we got to see him.

I thought he deserved to be skipped over or a frosh. I feel the same about Worley.

A few snaps against S.bam and we'll be back to world beaters. Amirite?

You guys kill me sometimes. smh

We're playing South Alabama! Worley already has three picks! If we're worried about losing by removing a sub par QB then we're really in trouble!

Agree. But I'm afraid it doesn't much matter. Georgia is gonna crush us. Seen enough of this team to know this now.

Worley won't win five games. TN has got to get the Freshmen involved, even if it is just running with the football.
