How Hart could leave Petrino on the table and pay this guy 3 million for 6 years! Don't get me wrong. I am not slamming Jones, but Petrino would have been a better pick. I know some of you will disagree and say Petrino has character issues, but the guy is a winner and unemployed.

Evidently all AD's agreed not to interview Petrino after the Arkansas debacle. He's been blackballed in the SEC.

I had heard rumblings that Slive stated taht he was done in the SEC, I don't know that there was any truth to it but it sure seems that way.

I've been cringing all morning waiting to hear the contract specifics. Did Hart really give him $3 million over 6 years???! Wasn't he making $1.6 at Cincy?

The morality police got Bobby. None of them ever cheated on their wives or did anything wrong.. Perfect choir boy types..

We could have hired Petrino or Butch Davis either one, and would have been fine with me...

This hire will prove to be just like the last one...

Cheating on his wife wasn't the issue for AD's. Hiring the mistress for a job she wasn't qualified for was the issue. You can't trust a guy with hiring responsibilities after he does that. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

This must be correct.

There are several other things about this search I don't understand.
