Even if we lost he has been giving the kids confidence. The only game I feel we had no chance was Oregon. I say now we have been balling out since S. Alabama. He wants the crowd into it and he knows his s@#! when it comes to coaching. He's all about building the team up. Unlike DD. He has won me over.

yeah i know we won. i use to doubt butch so i'm eating crow and being honest. he can coach. our players were a mess mentally. we had the talent all along.

Tennessee is on the rise.

Florida is heading toward a death spiral. So awesome! Georgia losing to Mizu and again to Vandy!

To recruits it is about who has the momentum. Right now we are on the rise and our competition is losing ground.

Hope we don't blow it and keep our stock up!

Vandy-win
Kentucky - win
Missour - win

That's all we need to finish the season and not erase the significance of this win.

with the teams progess it's awesome. we haven't had a quality win since 2007. i agree the recruits will want to flock to neyland.

:)Why don't we give bama a azz whipping sense everybody else is getting one.:bottom: They wont be but like 100people on this planet that thinks we got a chance and that is the team, they are so young they don't know they supposed to lay and bow down to the almighty bama.

The resume' of bUTch Jones proves he knows how to teach and coach football, knows how to WIN including conference Championships, knows how to relate to the players on and off the field, knows how to recruit, put players in the NFL and motivate and get players to work hard and believe in themselves and their team.

When he was first hired it took me awhile to watch what bUTch said and did before I was convinced that we hired the right guy but I always support whatever coaches and players we have because that's all I really can do as a fan.

Now I see the start of success coming around again and the close loss to UGa and the huge upset WIN over Spurrier and USCe today has me 100% certain that we have the right Head football Coach finally and that we just need to keep supporting the program, coaches and players and in a few more years of good recruiting the serious fear of playing our Vols will be back and we'll be back in the top 10 rankings again where we belong.

Brick by brick bUTch will rebuild our team back to National recognition as 1 of the top teams in America.

CONGRATS to all our players, coaches and fans on a great upset VICTORY today!

Let's tap the brakes a bit. This team is far from being very talented. But, some good coaching mixed with kids who are hungry goes a long way. I expect us to play hard and be competitive the rest of the way, but 6 wins will still be a good result. We have four above-average to good teams left on the schedule.
