I ran into Paul Foytack last week in Spring Hill, TN. Foytack played 13 seasons iirc through the 50's and a year or two in the early 60's. In 1961, Mr. Foytack(then a Detroit Tiger) was responsible for giving up Maris' 1st homerun of his 61 homrrun year. We chatted for a few moments ab the old days, really nice guy. He gave me an autographed card. Foytack for the Hall!

Good story. I hope you are joking about the HOF.

I have a similar story. When I played in the New England league during college in Vermont we had Robin Roberts come to one of our games because if I remember correctly he was from there. Anyways, the whole team got autographs and pictures with him. He was a super nice guy and before going out and throwing the first pitch I was able to play catch with him. Didn't really think about it at the time but now I realize I had the opportunity to throw with a HOF...unreal...
