Let the love fest for Texas A&M begin. Most picking A&M to win the game. I don’t know if they believe that or if it’s just wishful thinking. 90% of TV time for A&M and 10% for TN. The lack of respect for what this team has accomplished gets old.

They are the cinderella underdog feel-good story. Anyone not wearing orange today will be for them. Kinda natural. The only way to make it all about the Vols is to win.
I get it but when TN plays KY, it’s all about KY. When TN plays an underdog, it’s all about the underdog. When TN is the underdog, they have very little or no chance. The narrative is always the same.

I don't have a great feeling about the game. Hope I'm wrong. They're fast and a little deeper than us, won 7 in a row and thumped Arkansas. Maybe I'm just paranoid because I was in elementary school last time we won this thing.
I hear ya but this team has a resiliency I haven’t seen in a long time. This season TN is now 20-0 when leading at the half.

I was 7 yrs old at the time, 😝. My son is a freshman @ UT now so I say it’s time to win it all today and then go get the Natty!

They have a lot of momentum. Now it's time to introduce them to the reality of what they're facing. I think it will be a battle. They deserve to be here.

They need the win much more than us. It's still probably 50/50 (at best) on whether they make the tournament if they lose. And these conference tourneys are just endurance-fests. No team is at the top of their game after 3-4 straight days of playing, so sometimes, it just comes down to a desperate team willing their way into the tournament (see Virginia Tech yesterday).

So I wouldn't be surprised if A&M wins. And I don't think it should really count much against us if they do.

They're the Cinderalla team, that's what March is pretty much about. It's got little to do with "lack of respect" and just how it is.

UK is a blue blood. UK, Duke, Kansas, they will always get the love because they are who they are. I'm pretty sure in 2019 after we beat UK in the semi that in the finals against Auburn we were getting pumped pretty hard and we didn't get it done.

A&M likely to be playing that junky match up 2-3 zone defense most of the game. It will come down to how well we move the ball and shoot the 3 AND how well we get out to challenge their 3.

It amazes me how CRB maintains his cool with some of those calls.

I think we're all sometimes guilty of not recognizing just how much Barnes converses with the refs throughout games. Like you said, he does not get as animated with his body language or tone as Coach Cal or Pearl which can make it easy to overlook when watching the game on television, but he still lets the refs know about it when he doesn't like a call.

All 3 analysts on game day picked the Vols. Who are you talking about? And yes of course ESPN hates us 🙄

Is A&M out with Richmond’s win over Davidson?

I wouldn't write them off yet, particularly given that most of these "bracketologists" don't seem to know what they are talking about, but A&M is definitely either one of the last teams in, or first teams out. They have some good wins, but their NET ranking at #42 hurts them.

Just glancing down at those rankings, they are jumbled up with a lot of other bubble teams like SMU, Oklahoma, Xavier, and Indiana.
