This is classic.

SHOCK: REV. JESSE JACKSON SLAMS OBAMA, WANTS TO 'CUT HIS N**S OUT'... APOLOGIZES FOR 'CRUDE AND HURTFUL COMMENTS' CAUGHT ON TAPE... FOXNEWS WILL PLAY JACKSON TAPE IN ITS ENTIRETY TONIGHT ON 'O'REILLY' 8 PM ET/5 PM PT... DEVELOPING...

Jackson Statement: For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologize. My support for Senator Obama_s campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal. I cherish this redemptive and historical moment.

_My appeal was for the moral content of his message to not only deal with the personal and moral responsibility of black males, but to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government and the public policy which would be a corrective action for the lack of good choices that often led to their irresponsibility.

_That was the context of my private conversation and it does not reflect any disparagement on my part for the historic event in which we are involved or my pride in Senator Barack Obama, who is leading it, whom I have supported by crisscrossing this nation in every level of media and audience from the beginning in absolute terms._

Jesse's use of qualifiers and adverbs has to make Don King envious.

Obama must have rejected Jesse's attempted shakedown of him. Obama must have told Jesse you get nothing from me. What a joke.

Maybe Drudge is just being sensational with the headline and actually all Jesse Jackson wants to do is "cut his NAPS out".

This is actually TREMENDOUS news for Obama because now he will be distanced from a well known race baiter. Jackson is a buffoon. Again, this helps Obama.

I think the bigger news here is that Jackson went through a whole sentence without rhyming.

I think you might actually be right. The average, white, middle class voter probably won't be too upset about a tiff between Obama and Jackson.

You are right...it probably wouldn't hurt him because a lot of people don't like Jesse Jackson

I think my favorite part of his statement is:
and it does not reflect any disparagement on my part for the historic event in which we are involved or my pride in Senator Barack Obama

. . . because as we all know, nothing says pride and respect like cutting someone's nuts out.

If he does win, I expect some comments from some of the racists to be along the lines of "well he's not 100% black, so we still haven't had a real black president yet".

Keep in mind, Jesse Jackson was in Memphis the day MLK was shot. He went over to King and hugged him (just to get enough blood on his shirt), and jumped on the first thing hot out of Memphis to Chicago. That night, he ran around the streets of Chicago holding up his bloody shirt and bragging about how he craddled King in his arms as he spoken his last words.

Don't take my word for it... ask Al Sharpton and several other black leaders. They've criticized him at one time or another for doing this.

Also, why would a reverend have issues with someone supporting faith based organizations and want to cut their nuts off?

The comments just didn't make a whole lot of sense.
They make more sense when your realize that Jesse is envious that some other black man is on the verge of achieving what he couldn't do, on the verge of having another black man have a greater spotlight than him, and on the verge of having another black man crumble his race baiting/racial victimization arguments in one motion.

The more attention and power Obama gets, the less Jesse Jackson gets. Jackson has a purpose in life as long as African Americans feel defeated.

So the liberal/socialist wing of the democratic party have purpose as long as Americans feel defeated?
