and now after their first quarter jitters are out of the way they are showing their dominance. The classless Duck fans on here though are a great representation of why people want them to fail. Arrogant pricks.

Now beat USC.

Agreed. Just returned from the game. Their fans were absolutely vile. They kept teasing us about going 10 years without a national championship...Ha, at least we have one. Two fans had enough nerve to yell smart ass remarks in a sea of orange. I quickly reminded them of where they were and that they were greatly outnumbered... and this was before the game started. I expected them to beat us, but I was pretty damn surprised at how rude they were.

You know we really have more than one but that's neither here nor there.

Oh, of course I know we claim 6, but I was making the point that I'd rather have the most recent one being ten (roughly) years as opposed to none.

this week has shown me that oregon has some of the worst fans in college football. not all of them, but a pretty fair percentage. milo was right when he said that most of them are incredibly ignorant about the college football landscape and the history that goes with it.

Hard for me to talk trash to a program that beat us handedly. That being said i like to look at the big picture i know we are still the bigger fish in the pond and eventually karma is going to get back in our favor and the duck will taste sweeter.

Eh, top ten team beating an unranked team in the midst of rebuilding. Not much of a shocker. What most expected. Their rednecks were much worse than ours. Some overweight woman who had her face painted half yellow and half green was standing on the sidewalk screaming that the "Vols were going to be covered in duck sh**." Haha.

I take most of what is said on message boards with a grain of salt...especially when it is biased towards a particular team. A few are going to be more optimistic. I mean, hell, the game is played for a reason. But, nationally, yes...most predicted we would lose...

Oregon has the most classless fans in college football... I had to sit in the middle of them tonight, and they would start talking **** but when a Tennessee fan confronted them they shut up fast. They would boo when our players where down injured, started chants such as "Drive home safely" "Where's Bryce Brown".. I lost all respect for the oregon fanbase. I can't wait till we play in Eugene.

The intelligent fans expected an ass-kicking, the mentally handicapped portion of the fan base was predicting a colossal upset.

There were legitimately reasons to expect an upset. Wilcox, home field, weather, etc. What we didn't know was the talent level and depth we were working with. Oregon had one of the most inexperienced o lines going into last season and turned out fine. Tonight we learned we simply don't have talent and even less depth. Were in for a long season but that's how it goes. Dooley needs to recruit or else were in for some south Carolina territory for at least five years.

and all this time I thought Vandy and Florida had the most classless fans in all of college football.

Yeah, but I wouldn't be to upset. A program whose only significant achievement in major D1 sports is hanging on the coat tails of a Shoe company and sucking them for all the cash they can get, and still remain largely irrelevant is hardly a reason to get bent out of shape.

Let them wear their chartreuse sweaters and drink their mocha frappe with soy milk, and get on with their lives.

Can we beat you guys again? I seriously need this. I will trade it for a sweep in basketball. Think about it.

Hence the reason I said "major" D1 sport. 102,000 screaming rabid people don't show up 5 hours early to tailgate for the 100 meter. Outside of that community, nobody really gives an ish about track.

Edit: Before some jag-off comes flying in with this horrible defense, yes I know Oregon claims one basketball title from the 30's. Yipee.

Well, just like the last 3 years, you will hear all kentucky fans screaming "this is our year", because you guys kind of suck (sorry...I know it hurts), and once again we have convinced ourself that we don't suck as much.

However, holding true to form over the last few years it will probably be a close game where we don't shoot ourselves in the foot, but rather blow off both legs with a grenade, and UT wins.

I am still a man of my word however, as I will be placing a C note on the CATS this year. 25 years is a nice round number, and maybe the time has come.

glad you've woken up to what the rest of the pac 10 figured out long ago. They think they are a national power or something despite never winning anything.
